Quick read on micro-credit:
I first heard of this book through the magazine “Ode”, whose editor is Jurriaan Kamp, the author of “Small Change”..I found the book an easy read. It is full of short vignettes about how micro-credit in very small amounts yields signicant help to very needy people. The book doesn’t seem to sequence readily because it deals with a number of individual situations, but if one is not familiar with how individuals and small groups are making huge differences with small funds, it is a worth-while read.
